When I bought the CD (not that long ago), I suddenly found I couldn't easily get it all to fit my concept of it, like I had during the leak. Which doesn't take away from the fact that it's a very good album, but it does make me less *excited* about it than I was. I mean, it's obviously very good, I feel as if Arcade Fire could write a very good album in their sleep.

1. Funeral (nothing to say that hasn't already been said)
2. Reflektor (this is a really, really solid album -- I love the quirkiness)
3. Neon Bible (great songs on this album, but this album isn't as well balanced)
4. The Suburbs (God I just cannot for the life of me get into that album)

Reflektor has grown a lot. It may be a long record, but im not tired at all of it.

So apparently I'm seeing these guys on my birthday in Chicago. I didn't even know this until my friend notified me of the ticket purchase he made two months ago. Fucking A!

Getting more excited (Gorge in August) the more I see and hear about their live show.

My favorite song is Sprawl II Mountains Beyond Mountains.

They are asking fans to dress up. Like in a tux. Are people actually doing that?

I'm not, only because it's a summer amphitheater show and I'm not dressing up for afternoon tailgating and drinking. If the show was at a smaller, urban venue I'd definitely put a suit on or some sort of costume.

I still have the shirt, bowtie, and cummerbund from my high school concert band uniform (concert band as in saxophones, clarinets, etc). It was way too big for me so I'd survive in hot weather. Room to breathe. May go ahead and wear that with shorts and sandals.
