Yes, I believe they’re being disingenuous but it’s not my job to police them. I also think that some portion of those who identify as non-binary are just attention seekers. Same for gay men who identify as straight in order to get married and have kids. Do I approve? No but neither do I really care. If that’s what it takes for them to live a happy life, go for it. I wish all people could live honestly but if they’re not. I’m not going to pick and choose who I call out
