Tried the Spotify AI DJ feature for the first time, as it was just released in Latin America. I fucking hate it! I was intrigued by the notion of it because I thought it would provide commentary or information on the tracks I'm listening to, but instead it just creates a playlist for me and chimes in every 5 songs to say some inane shit like "okay we're keeping it going with more The Youth of Today" or "alright we're gonna listen to the top charting hits of the moment." An utter waste of what could've been a cool feature

So I spent a bit of time with the curated Spotify wrapped radio thing. Kinda neat -- there's a DJ who explains what each segment will contain. I did laugh when he said "your 6th most listened to band, Blur... we've dug up some songs you probably haven't heard" and proceeded to play "Girls & Boys". That's one of my favorite Blur songs. It was a single!

I think the new Crowded House is kind of incredible (especially as a headphones album!). It’s like the music the Beatles would have made if the Maharishi and drugs had worked, and they’d all chilled out.
