All these ideas the league is supposedly spitballing are stupid. They're not going to bring hundreds of players to these locations without their families and isolate them from the rest of society for five months for our entertainment just so they can say they didn't cancel the season.

If things get back to (somewhat) normal in time to do a shortened season, maybe even in empty (or mostly empty) stadiums, I can see it happening. But these suggestions are awful.

I don't like the idea of the Cactus League and the Grapefruit League and empty stadiums. It will always feel like an illegitimate season. The WS winner will always have an asterisk

The bullpen is the part that really blows me away, to be honest, since it includes 3-4 of the best performances ever.

That Mark Eichhorn season is absolutely insane and is probably THE best relief season of all time.

14-6 with a 1.72 ERA in 156 IP without making a single start. Finished sixth in Cy Young voting as a rookie middle reliever. That 7.3 bWAR is not a typo.
