disappointed the pearl jam didn't do more to S Aerosmith's D and act like they are peers

usually Ed is a quality starf*cker but he really dropped the ball on this one

now PJ Inc. is left scrambling realizing they missed an opportunity to take some of Aerosmith's market share

if only PJ had spent time covering 'Dream On' in their encores instead of 'Purple Rain'

but alas

maybe there is a chance if Ed is spotted in Hollywood shopping with Liv Tyler?

sad day for the people of Pearl Jam Inc.

There’s a boxed set Aerosmith collection called Pandora’s Box that has a good chunk of all 70s output from Aerosmith and it’s pretty great. I have not really had any interest in their music post-70s. There are admittedly some fun songs on Permanent Vacation, and even arguably Pump. I vehemently hated everything after that. Never saw them live but assume they would play I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing and that it would likely ruin not just that show, but cast a shadow over any live music I had ever seen.

Yeah that one came out in the 90s right? Good stuff. They did cool stuff in the 70s, a few songs in the 80s and I did loved Get A Grip and Nine Lives back in the day

Never saw them live

We saw them on a double bill with KISS back in 2003. I’ve never been a big fan, but Mrs Wease is. Other than Dream On, Walk This Way and Sweet Emotion, I couldn’t tell you a single song they played.

Last night I listened to the song "Angel of My Dreams" by JADE while in an altered state and it really messed with my mind. I think I love it

I feel no sadness about Aerosmith retiring, but they are definitely one of those "soundtrack of my childhood" bands whose hits I will always have a fondness for.

i don't really 'care' that aerosmith is done, i wasn't going to see them anyway. i still like their stuff from the 70s and 80s. even 'eat the rich' is cool. alicia silverstone really killed this band, unfortunately. it's similar to u2 and lemons

Most of their 70s stuff and a lot of their stuff through the mid-90s is great. Toys in the Attic and Rocks in particular are fantastic albums

How did Weird Al never parody this one? Dove In An Alligator or something.
