Pearl jam is the only band i really pay attention to for lead up to their new albums, so im not sure if there is a normal for this stuff

I'd guess we'll get a 2nd single 2 weeks out from the album release. This will not be targetted at us (as we've either already bought it or will regardless), it's directed at the casual fan who then may pick up the album and/or try to see a show.

Pretty much Sarge. I'm thinking the people who really dug Betterman, Last Kiss, Just Breathe, possibly Daughter.

I think the 2nd single will either be LB to really push the album, or SMB/FD to appeal to as many people as possible.

Don't you want to keep going to shows? If they stop being able to sell enough tickets, I think they would stop being a band. I hope the single they release is a huge hit. I think they need it. Then they can No Code the fuckers on the next album and it can all start over again.
