why do people in (and the creators/keepers of) the SW universe measure time in earth years?
TFA takes place 30 years after Jedi
Yoda is 900 years old
Does every planet in that universe have the same exact length and frequency of rotations and revolutions around their suns as our planet does?

Ok, saw it today. Loved it. Still not sure about how much I loved it. My first reaction is that it's on par with the original, but needed something more to get close to ESB.
