Or Physical Graffiti.

Or Presence.

Or II.

Man, they were good.
It's IV. For sure.

I haven't listened to them for years before this tourney, but I used to listen to IV and Physical Graffiti the most when I did listen.

III, IV and Presence are all I really need anymore. Those three records are just outstanding to me.

II, III, IV, Houses, and PG

So did We're Gonna Groove make this thing? Never heard it till I got the Coda remaster and bow howdy, that there is a fine song.

Re rankings, I'm fond of III, II, Houses of the Holy, and Physical Graffiti. I don't remember liking Presence very much and for an unpopular opinion, I think I would rank In Through The Out Door over it. Admittedly, I haven't listened to Presence in a really long time. I think I may take care of that today.

I think In Through The Out Door has some fucking STRONG tracks on it but I don't love the entire album. There are individual songs on it that I'd rank above some of the stuff on Presence, for sure (eff you RM, yes, I'm talking about All of My Love).

There's a handful of good tracks, but a lot of it is horrifically terrible. Easily their worst album.

I think I'd put PG below it. But only just and only because I think it's SUPER bloated. But again, the best of PG is some of the best of their entire catalog. Some epic, monster tracks on that thing. I just wish it was like the 9 best songs.

And I haven't ever heard Coda. So that might be worse too. I don't know.

Half of Coda is right up there with Presence as their best work ever, IMO. But there's also the other half.

That's actually the best thing I've ever heard about the record. I guess I should finally give it a go. Normally people just tell me to pretend like it never happened. So I have.

I used to be a PG hater, but there are some of my absolute favorites on it now, including: In My Time Of Dying, Houses Of The Holy, Trampled Under Foot, and Down By The Seaside. I even really like "Boogie With Stu".

Coda was a pleasant surprise. First off "We're Gonna Groove" may be like one of the greatest things I've ever heard from them. For the Page remaster, they included "Sugar Mama" which is an outtake from II. The remaster also includes "Hey Hey What Can I Do". I think you'd enjoy the remaster. There are a lot of goodies on disc 2.

Re: In Through The Out Door, I'm a sucker for "All Of My Love", RM be dammed! I like "Hot Dog" too. "Fool In The Rain" is pretty damn good too.

I love the Fool in the Rain. Great story. A different kind of track for them.

It's definitely not my favorite of all time, or even close to that for me, but I agree that it is a great song.

If Physical Graffiti was just the new material, not the outtakes from previous records, I'd be tempted to call it my favourite Zeppelin record:

Custard Pie
In My Time of Dying
Trampled Under Foot
Kashmir
In the Light
Ten Years Gone
The Wanton Song
Sick Again

This is how I listen to it pretty much all the time.
