I thought it was a female singing at the start. There also appears to be a really bad backing vocal.

Can you imagine how ripped off you would feel if you, as a movie producer, paid Pearl Jam for a song, and you got one with Stone on vocals?

Given we don't have a clean version, it's seems really silly to pass any sort of specific opinion. We do have a general sound and vocal, and I can see by some of the comments some people are puzzled. Given that, can some people just drop the whole façade that they want the band to be more challenging, do something more different, be surprised? That is a whole gigantic load of bull. Some of you want the band to sound how you best remember them and imagine them in your head, plain and simple. No different then an over-the-hill high school football player pining for the 'good old days' when things were so much better.

It's beyond disingenuous of you to constantly say that just because people don't like something new that Pearl Jam does, it means they don't actually want them to try new things. It is implicit that we would like Pearl Jam to try something that is new and also good.

*Pearl Jam records an entire album consisting of a recording of Ed passing a kidney stone*
*Red Mosquito rightfully mocks it for being terrible*
Tuolumne: DDIDN'T YOU GUYS SAY YOU WANT THEM TO TRY SOMETHIGN NEW'?????!¿¿??

Yeah I beg to differ. Just because we don't like it doesn't mean we want it to sound "the way it was". Maybe we don't like it because it is crap.

I don't buy it, cause you're listening to a partial recording that is technically crappy and sounds like it was taped inside of a car trunk, yet making rash judgments based on the general sound and direction of the track. You can't call a song crap when you have barely even heard the song. Load. of. bull.

Whether this song is bad or not has nothing to do with your larger point of "you don't actually want them to try new things", which is ridiculous.
This sounds like a garbage song for a garbage movie, but I won't be able to say that with certainty until it comes out.

And you know what, I saw the "Vindaloo" comments from whoever the fuck it was, with hardly anyone else making a peep about it or saying anything about it and I'll call a spade a spade and just say it is bigoted crap, which I'm sure some people will find objectionable of me to even bring up. So, fuck that.

Well it did turn a little strange from people not being impressed by what theyve heard so far to being called bigots
