new book please

Something I read -- can't remember where, I'll see if I can find it -- said that Martin gave an interview within the last two weeks in which he said he expected to be out by the end of next year.bada wrote:Are there any rumors about when a new book might come out?
I don't think he's dead, is he supposed to be? didn't we last see him stuck in the snow outside Winterfell?Mecca wrote:So, who else thinks Stannis isn't dead?
a little wiki research confirms this.kreng wrote:Didn't grrrm post a chapter from winds of winter from a pov near stannis confirming he's alive

it's not out at all yet. i think it's coming out next month.Fuzzy_Dunlop wrote:So what's the deal with the fifth book. My wife bought me the first four in a box set for fathers day. I just finished the fourth and I'm looking to buy the fifth. Is the fifth paperback only available in two parts?
Depends on where you live. In some areas, it's been published in two parts. My edition is the complete volume.kreng wrote:it's not out at all yet. i think it's coming out next month.Fuzzy_Dunlop wrote:So what's the deal with the fifth book. Both parts have been out for more than a year now, though.
Yes. I am holding the paperback as I type. This slows down my typing somewhat, but I'm all for making a point.kreng wrote:in paperback? i own the hardcover so i have no need for paperback though i have never seen the paperback of this book before. plus there's this: http://grrm.livejournal.com/336461.htmlRaziel wrote:Depends on where you live.
