He's just spewing probabilities. If they are going to do more shows in the U.S. than other places, they'd want to have those locked down. Probably just festivals in Europe, etc.

all the touring has been about making $ for years. just festivals and baseball stadiums!

I wish they’d get away from the baseball stadiums but I fully expect Fenway to be the Boston venue from now on.

I'll be so pissed if I'm dumb enough to go to another Wrigley show (spoiler: I am).
That is the worst fucking venue for a PJ concert and I fucking resent the shit out of Ed's relationship with the Cubs now.

Some years back, (2010 I think) Elton John did a U.S. tour of smaller venues. It was awesome. He played in Yakima, WA. Pearl Jam should do this, but in minor league stadiums.
