I got some of the other vinyls but never listen because I have shit stereo equipment. Need a good receiver with at least above average speakers to play these things (albums in general).

They're always just the usual burned CD-Rs though, not factory-pressed CDs.

I somehow forgot this was coming out.
Probably the most exciting Pearl Jam-related thing that will happen until the next Vault release.

Looks like they are shipping down under first then. From SLH on the pit today:
We received our first shipment of Vault 9 vinyl. Shipping labels are now being printed. We will begin shipping orders on 12/5/19 and hope to have them all out by end of year. We will ship orders in waves as we receive product. Tracking will become active when the order is picked up. Digital and CD versions will be available once we have shipped all of the vinyl.
We thank you in advance for your patience.
Happy Holidays!!

I ordered the CD. Sorry folks, I am unapologetically huge Pearl Jam fan but can’t blow $50 + shipping for vault releases that sound marginally better than the bootlegs I snagged decades ago to play maybe once. The CD I will at least use repeatedly in the car.
I might get ripped for this, but I loved vinyl in big part because as a lost format, procuring great albums for cheap was a huge pull. I used to spend full days and weekends at record stores in NYC and Brooklyn fishing through the bins for anything that made me curious, and would walk away with 20 or so used records for like $30-50, depending on how much I was ready to spend and found so much great and not great stuff...but a big piece of that was the adventure. Now it seems I can get 1 Record for $50. I apparently will not be picking a copy of Let It Be for $4 anymore. I don’t mean that as a judgment as much as the times passed me by on this one.

Kind of strange that the artwork refers to the venue as Mercer Arena, not Seattle Center Arena which I believe was the correct name in 1993.

Listening now and I'm not particularly impressed, but maybe I'm not in a Pearl Jam mood right now.
The "new songs" and "rarities" are hideous renditions.
Mike's guitar sounds pretty terrible in places, like he had dead batteries in one of his guitar pedals or something.
There are weird sonic flaws and distortions.
Surely there were better shows from this tour they could have released?
Laziness? Let's just release the Seattle gig?
Or maybe I am missing something at the moment?

Having now taken a listen, it really isn't a particularly great performance, though it has its moments.
I agree that the new songs are played terribly and even the standards are pretty loose and surprisingly unfocused for the time period.
If I had to guess, I'd suggest this show was chosen on the basis that it was both complete and had a kind of interesting setlist (complete Mamason trilogy, unreleased Vitalogy songs, etc.) - I haven't seen any indication performance quality has registered as even a moderate concern given some of the shows that have been selected for release (thinking of the Missoula 2005 show in particular).
What I'd give to be able to go through their archives and see what they actually have (and what they should be releasing instead.)

Yep, I listened to this today as well (thank you very much) and gotta agree with the thoughts above. I enjoyed the show enough, and it certainly is an interesting enough setlist, but not as if the performances were incendiary or anything.
I'd certainly enjoy a visit to the vaults too. Would be great to see what they really had available.

A fan voted vault release with a number of choices based on what they have that they can master sounds like a great idea.

You’d think doing something like this would be glaringly obvious to this band, and this project in general.
