the notes Jeff is playing underneath the last third of "fiiiiist" (1:34-5) and then again for longer underneath "sheeeeelf" (2:21-5) are really cool, and I've just noticed them

we'll allow the comment to stand, but please note that SBWM is not yet confirmed as Spritzy Punker canon

just requires more research

we havn't established the core principles yet

sounds like we are getting close to a 4- or 5-part test

but results are still inconclusive

the meltiness of the guitar solo might be a disqualifying feature

distortion level may at times exceed that which is associated with 'bubbliness'

Oh heavens yes.

I'd say I like most live versions of "Leatherman" more than any single song on the last two albums too.

- God's Dice is out. Too much of a murky undercurrent to be a spritzy spunker.

- Save You's geetars have too much snarl and not enough carbonated, empty calories

Much as I do love, could the genesis of Spritz live in MFC? It IS a rather spritzy jaunt; a jaunty spritz, if you will.
We still make records to be listened to — not that everyone will listen to a record track one to twelve in a row or side A or Side B — but we still make 'em in case somebody does want to listen to it like that, that's how we make em…

I like Sirens and Dotc, but couldn't say I don't agree with that.

I might be wrong, but I think Spenno and KD are talking about Backspacer and Lightning Bolt here.
