No but demand > supply, so for high volume markets like philly/nyc/boston, it stands to reason only options 1 and 2 will get a shot at tickets. They will use their third and forth choices to consume tickets of the smaller markets turning them into 1 and 2 onlies as well.

So if I do not get selected (put in both GA and Reserved for Baltimore), then I'm gonna be SOL on 10c tickets?
If you picked anything in Philly for 3 and 4 then in all likelihood yes. If you picked Dallas or OKC, you may be safe.

Can't swing Philly this time, but Baltimore is doable. I'm hoping by putting in for both reserved and GA that I'll get tix. If not, then I'm not renewing 10C next year. What is the point if you can't get tickets to shows you want to go to, and what is point of seniority?

I think now I am just renewing my membership annually so in ten years when they do an all acoustic tour, I'll have a good seat.

I kind of like that they're willing to change things up after so long. I don't mind, because if you really think about it, there's always gonna be someone trying to get rid of tickets. Try hard enough and you'll find your way into the building, even if you're not sitting as close as you'd like. That bothers me less and less with each tour.
But regarding GA, my current concern is a packed pit of poster tubes and crushed posters.

10C has ~20% of all tickets for each show except Philly and Portland which are ~27%

Not even a Chicago date.
You got a tour in 2010, Alpine Valley for PJ20 and a Wrigley Field date this year. Stop bitching.

Especially when freaking Spokane makes the cut.
Well, they haven't played in Spokane since 1993 and it's the same size as Boise. I'm sure it's also easier for them to commute to the show since it also happens to be the weekend after Thanksgiving.

There, I fixed it for you.
Honestly, I get all the bitching - I just wish all of you would quit the freaking 10 Club already, because it's clearly doing nothing for you. Send them a message, quit your membership, save some money and then buy a ticket online like the rest of us.
After years of bitching, I'm happy to finally get a date in Portland on what is almost the perfect weekend for a show, and I may even go to Seattle if I can find the money. I'm also happy they're playing some new places, and I'm happy for GA even if I probably won't get tickets for it.
You can now tell me to go to hell if you wish.

Being on the way to Calgary is what probably sealed the deal for them.
I don't like how they spaced out the Portland and Seattle dates. That doesn't make it as easy for me to see them in both places. Vancouver would be more intriguing as a result--and it would also be a nice birthday present.

The GA thing is excellent, I hope that carries through to any Australian dates they do. Not particularly interested in starting a raging pit during Mind Your Manners, but I prefer to be able to move freely and find my own space to watch the show. Allocated seats are kind of restrictive.

Hey, if I go in for GA and Res for the same show, I get to pick the one I prefer, right?
(for what that's worth)

I don't think so....that's why there's a priority ranking for all the tickets you choose.

I'm thinking you choose which you prefer by ordering your choices. Meaning if you'd prefer GA, make that your first choice, then make reserved 2nd choice.
Man, this whole drawing thing combined with the addition of GA is really messing with me...I can't decide how to order my show priorities.

So I can really only do Worcester and/or Hartford. Guess I will put in for both. Gotta go GA. I betcha there's plenty of room up front.
