Yeah omega is the only kiwi accent there. Wrecker’s fake accent is dumb like him. Sounds like wet might get a Rex appearance soon.

Agree on rex. Will we see Ahsoka here? Sorta the same set up. They’ve both sorta been forced to leave their tribes for being different / outcasts?

Yep wreckers accent isn’t Australian at all.

He sounds like Zeb from Clone Wars imho

A Rex appearance followed by Ahsoka I’m assuming.

If you guys watch this and grumble about the accents, I question your ability to enjoy anything ever again.

I checked one clickbait site that probably paid to be near the top of my google search. What do I know.

That was dark as fuck. I’m impressed with his great this show looks. The characters kinda almost feel out of place with that clone wars vibe. Which I think is a perfect and necessary follow through from clone wars, but everything else around them and especially the lighting, lush detail and just quality.

Did anyone spot young Jyn last time we met Saw? she doesn’t speak but she’s in camp and gets screen time. Glad she wasn’t there for this. Yikes.
I get the impression that young squad of elite human troops are some sort of connection. Are they in a game or something? Feels like we should know who they are. Thought two of them were the main two characters from Lost Stars but I don’t think the timeline quite matches up

Continues to be good, fun television.

2 for 2 on Disney Star Wars shows being “rogue ship in space with a kid on board.”

Orphans are huge in Star Wars.

I mean, it’s nothing but main characters who are orphans who meet their found familys and high jinx ensue.

If there was something else to watch, I'd skip this and skim the wookiepedia article. It's pretty ho hum.

I know. You said kid. I just thought I’d elaborate in case nobody had noticed the orphan trope is pretty centrally placed in Star Wars.

The only ones besides Grogu we know for sure is an orphan is Anakin and Rey. Does Han say he’s an orphan or is it stated in Solo? I guess Luke and Leia become orphans in RotJ.
