You better be kidding, fucknuts. How many times have we gone over the difference between remixes and remasters?

Sorry, I've been in and out of RM for the last few weeks and haven't really followed much. Not to mention I'm lazy and haven't read much in this thread.

Come on, people.

It's the same story as the Ten Deluxe.

Original Mix remastered, including all the b-sides and alternate mixes.

Totally New 2013 Remix.

Complete Live Show from 1993.

And a pile of demos, many of them instrumental.

I'm only interested in the remix. I doubt those extra tracks are anything to go nuts over. If they were, Courtney would have cashed them in a long time ago....

It is cool to think about but who knows... I would like to think so given the songwriting talent we know Dave has now. I imagine Kurt singing on the first 3 or 4 FF records instead of Dave (as Nirvana) and that could have been sick.
On that note, here's some good interviews with Dave about the pre-Foo Fighters tracks Kurt was possibly interested in.

this post led me into a nirvana youtube wormhole last evening, thanks. i'd never really listened to grohl talk about nirvana after the fact.

If this was just the first and third discs I would be all over it. The demos and the "2013 mix" just don't interest me, and while I have a lot of fond memories of watching that "Live and Loud" show as a kid, I hardly ever watch music DVD's. Unless this is priced incredibly reasonably I will probably take a pass on it.

In general the whole "deluxe reissue" movement of the last decade has been really disappointing to me. Pretty much every one of them has featured a handful of odd songs that I'm really excited to see getting released, mixed in among a bunch of other stuff that just feels like catalog clutter or stuff I don't feel compelled to spend money on for a second time.

Unrelated but the Last Splash reissue deluxiod package looks great.

If Steve did the entirety of disc 2, this is a no brainer for me. But amazon has the CDs listed at 150, which is fucking batshit.

Hey, the vinyl is only $56! Not sure what's on it, though (I imagine it doesn't include the live material).

Sadly, Idon't think disc 2 is on the vinyl. And yeah no dvd/blu ray action.

I already have a copy of the In Utero LP, which I think sounds wonderful.

150 is insane.
