Hey, I don't love the idea of more Boba Fett. I've liked him a bit less every time he pops back up, but I want to see this show as much as the next guy.

It was just clear in that special that everyone thinks Boba Fett is so loved because he's mysterious, and their response to that is to peel back the mystery bit by bit in every new release from Lucasfilm.

It wasn’t that though. It was just an explainer for joe public who are about to get hit with a new series when they’re expecting a Mandalorian season three.
It didn’t dispell any myths. It’s just explained who he is and why people love him.
The myths and mystery is still there. For now.
How did he survive? And what’s he been doing since ?

The special didn't ruin any mystery. I'm just expecting the show to do that.

It doesn't matter. They were always going to load Boba down with backstory until we all hate him.

yeah i agree with B.

They could have done a show with him without the need of explain everything. But we might see something super cool with it, so well see.

He was fearless and brutal in Mandalorian so, thats a good start.

I understand what you’re saying and to me he’s always been peripheral but anything gives us more Star Wars is welcome.

Id watch a series about the rancor keeper ffs. As long as the story is good let’s go.

That's not fair. There are very specific Star Wars things I dislike, and they're a minority of material.

I guess I just get jaded about these Disney+ pre-show specials of clips thrown together by Lucasfilm and Marvel interns.

That Robert Rodriguez guy is doing it and what he said has me excited. Saying it’s gonna blow us away and we aren’t ready for how good it is.

I'm sure someone at some point said this about each of the sequel trilogy movies. We all know how that turned out.
