Trag, nobody in the US knows what you're talking about because the video is just a big black hole.

Thanks! Really liking this so far. I haven't listened to much of Sanders's work apart from his playing with Coltrane, and this seems like the perfect time to start.

OK, so I heard these guys randomly on the radio today. Melbourne band Flyying Colours. They do a dreamy psych pop rock thing that is bloody good. I admit I'm only on my 2nd listen to the album (Fantasy Country released a couple of months ago) but I gotta say its damn good. They touch a few styles here but all of it is engaging and, well, good.
Here's album closer 'Boarding Pass' but I strongly recommend a complete album listen.

Godspeed You! Black Emperor did a preview stream of their new album on Saturday wherein their two projectionists did their thing in an otherwise empty Montreal theater and then the audio of the album was synched up to the video of the projections. It was a one time thing done for Suoni Per Il Popolo as part of their concert livestreams, but not archived there. Naturally, several fans took the liberty of recording it and putting it up on YouTube, so I gave it a listen last night. It's really good after one listen and I think it might get closer in terms of quality to their old material than any of the post-hiatus stuff (except maybe 'Allelujah! Don't Bend! Ascend!).

I don't know Danger Mouse's body of work as a whole, but the two Gnarls Barkley albums are among my favorite records of the 2000's.

Trag that album which is on streaming services is really good, as is the 2015 one by the same artist.

yeah I want to check out his older stuff now. I'm so torn on the new one. Aspects that I'm head over heels for, but those drums...ugh...
Are we talking about the same album? I'm not talking about the drums one I'm talking about the one that's available on streaming services even though the videos are blocked in the US.
