It’s happening for me as well.McParadigm wrote:It must be an issue on my end. No one would go to all the trouble of remixing an album, and not notice that somewhere along the way they cut off the first 5 seconds of a song. Even the most cursory quality check at the upload stage would catch something like that.

It's not the Out of the Furnace take - it's definitely still 1991 Ed. It must just be an alternate vocal take - a la 'avalanche' in WYAThurman Murman wrote:Like they just did an Atmos release on the wrong take of the song? LOLStrat wrote:Oh yea. He did that for the soundtrack to the movie Out of the Furnace...i assume its that take?
This seems like a mistake
Although honestly as embarrassing a f*ck up as that would be, i'd still prefer that over Ed thinking there was a need to re-record Release a third time.

I know some of you here like to post things to push other people's buttons, but this is a straight up dick comment.Wendy Carlos's Twin wrote:Ignore the snowflakes.tree_ wrote:yeah, i know everyone says it's wrong these days... i've been listening to a movie podcast with a couple comedians a lot recently and they say it a lot and it feels normal to me again.. but if it actually offends people i will stop.. not really a big deal to me
I blasted the Super Delux mix this afternoon. I will never get tired of this album. Such a stone cold classic.VinylGuy wrote:I recently blasted Ten on vinyl and sang every fucking song like it was 1992. Fuck i looove this album.
I just had another proper sit-down listen and it is indeed the Out of the Furnace re-recorded vocal track! Recorded crica 2013. Who knows whether this was a deliberate decision for this release, or an oversight - neither would surprise meridleybradout wrote:It's not the Out of the Furnace take - it's definitely still 1991 Ed.
