I'm cherry-picking Placebo songs and they're not as regrettable as I had previously suggested. As with many bands I found myself moving on from, I could still put together a passable mix of my favorite tracks.

Holy shit, I hadn't thought about this band in years. A buddy of mine put me onto them when I picked up the bass in the early 00's. Great playing, but the ideas didn't always come together.

The only Muse song that is still on any playlist for me is Newborn. Because it is so good. But yeah, the frontman and the lyrics are oof.

I'll give them Origin of Symmetry and Absolution. I wouldn't exactly recommend them to others, though.
