This song feels like a very similar structure to Fatal to me, in that it starts with a moodier beginning that gives way to a more conventional melodic and powerful end.
Yeah I think I'm one of the few who prefer this one to Cold Confession.digster wrote:This song feels like a very similar structure to Fatal to me, in that it starts with a moodier beginning that gives way to a more conventional melodic and powerful end.
me too. lets form a club. We can call it the "Cold Confession HATERS Club" anyway.digster wrote:I prefer this one also, though I'm a fan of both.

There are more of us. Though I'd like it to be clear that I do love Cold Confession.BurtReynolds wrote:Yeah I think I'm one of the few who prefer this one to Cold Confession.digster wrote:This song feels like a very similar structure to Fatal to me, in that it starts with a moodier beginning that gives way to a more conventional melodic and powerful end.
I fear that this is all we'll ever have. And that's okay with me though I'd love that guitar to be pushed a bit a the end.bodysnatcher wrote:This one still has a very demo feel to it. Well, maybe not demo, but just a studio version where they are still fleshing things out. Kind of like Puzzles And Games. There are some really solid moments I like in this song. One being Ed's delivery... very Riot Act-ish. And the vocal melody he rides in the very middle of the song during the beginning of the song breakdown is very solid. I liked CC much more on first impression, but this one has severely grown on me. I just hope Ed doesn't overbake the vocals on the final take
I was literally just thinking this reminds me of Fatal... I just dont like the Chorus in this one... and Let it Ride? just seems to lazy 70s rock of a song title / chorus to get into which is why im glad it stayed a Lost Dog / Stray Cat...digster wrote:This song feels like a very similar structure to Fatal to me, in that it starts with a moodier beginning that gives way to a more conventional melodic and powerful end.

Yes and the stop start rhythm that Matt does is great and makes the straight 4/4 feel later all the better. Matt does a good job on this one.. Ed's melody is awesome too. Just want more Mike in the mix.Birds in Hell wrote:The chorus is my favourite part!MadTIGERmaN wrote:I was literally just thinking this reminds me of Fatal...
