But if I followed anyone religiously in that world, it would be the train smart/rest smart balanced approach of someone like Higdon or Steve Magness.

I have always been clear on the rules. Many others have followed them. Chitter chatter on the side is encouraged and silliness is fun, but at the end of the day we're still making sandwiches under the guidelines here.
