Boss is retiring and our succession plan includes that one mother fucker being the person to take over the position. My boss was very good about not drowning me in work - that one mother fucker is skilled in the exact opposite. The hand off began and it’s turning into me and another coworker being badgered every day for the same list of things.

My timelines are dependent on other people as well - so then as I’m badgered - these folks are subsequently badgered.

I’m currently keeping my eyes open for another position within the company.

It will be fine. I’m in a state of frustration for the time being though. That one mother fucker is the nicest person in the world but he needs to go back to manager’s school.
