I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

Marvel should’ve gotten Cavill for Hercules.

This trope of the good guy secretly being the bad guy is really old by this point.

Fallout is the best. All of them are enjoyable but I really liked it the best. 2 and 4 are probably my picks for lowest two.

Wait. Am I really the only one that thinks the first one is the best and the rest pale in comparison?

Every film after that just felt like a summer blockbuster trying to outdo the last

I watch these movies for the over the top action stunts. Plot etc is secondary.

Was harder to rank these than I thought...I still don't know if I agree that the first one was the best...

Mission Impossible
Fallout
Rogue Nation
MI3
Ghost Protocol
MI2

I used to think Ghost Protocol was one of the best, but it’s really just that skyscraper scene that I’m thinking of, which is still one of my favourite big set-pieces in the franchise.

It’s got everything. The big crazy stunt on the outside of the tower. The playful spycraft and scheming inside. The mask machine malfunctioning! It’s the best.

Overall, though, it's somewhere in the bottom half of the rankings.

Just realized my in laws will be in town when this comes out. I’ll definitely be sneaking away for a rare theater experience.
