Just before waking I had a weird one. So I’m in some city for some sort of gathering. (I’ve tried and tried to remember what city and what type gathering to no avail.) A group of us are told to load onto a bus and we’ll be taken to a different part of the gathering. We’re all a bit shocked and more than a little confused because the published itinerary mentioned nothing about this. But we all climb aboard and as we’re snaking around different parts of town, I notice the bus driver is actor Greg? Kinnear. I thought it odd and hoped his fortunes would reverse enough that he didn’t have to rely on driving a bus for this unknown company that put together this gathering. Next thing I know, Kinnear, me and a couple of other people are on an oversized inflatable mattress sliding down the street on a steep hill while someone is giving chase behind us. We’re careening down this hill when all of a sudden we hit the side of a building. Kinnear thinks he knows the dude that runs whatever business resides in the building so he implores us to get inside.

Then I wake up.

I read that in Tommy Lee Jones in Old Country For No Men voice.

I was out at the beach shooting some video footage with Lenny Kravitz for an upcoming CD-ROM of his. He had this crackpot theory that ancient sharks were buried under this little patch of land near the shore, except he kept calling them crocodiles instead of sharks but I figured out what he meant. He thought the sharks could be "woken up" by filling the area with more shark energy (putting live sharks there).

One of the research crews brought a baby shark and freed it in the area and I guess it sort of worked because their sensors indicated increased shark activity under the soil but they didn't want to go any further for safety reasons I guess? Anyway Lenny Kravitz gloated for a while about being right, and then he explained the concept of TRL which he was now hosting

CD-ROM. TRL. Was this set in 1998?

I had a dream where I was skating a bowl with Kurt Cobain, then he had enough of skating and started playing guitar in the middle. He wasn't singing though. And I wasn't done skating. So it was apparently my job to skateboard around him while laying down bass and vocals. I thought it sounded great. When we were done I was like "hell yeah, Kurt Cobain, that sounded pretty good!" and he shrugged and said "Eh, sounded okay I guess".

The brutal honesty of dream Cobain has haunted me all day.

I dreamt that RM's own Lennytheweedwhacker moved in with me as my new roommate and best friend. We had a pet tiger who kept shitting everywhere. Lenny and I talked about standup comedy and why I dislike most of it. Then at one point we went on a road trip with Gregg Turkington and his wife. They were both extremely funny

Just yesterday I was thinking about your disdain for standup.

I had very intense war dreams last night. But we were defending a beach somewhere. So much shooting. Then I got distracted because my boot was untied and suddenly I was in the store looking for shoelaces. WTF.

I dont remember the dream except that I woke up from one dream into another dream where I was explaining the first dream to someone.

I dreamt I had to take care of an elephant at school . all I was worried about was it pooping so I kept trying to make it lay down in a blanket so that the blanket would catch whatever. Then it turned into a baby elephant, thank goodness. It had a golden yellow blanket, and it never did shit. The end.

I call dibs on Golden Blanket Elephant Shits as a band name.

Most of my dreams are about the sex.
