If Gizz and RH both had a record drop on the same day I would listen to the 'head first.

That just means Radiohead is the opening band.

I teed up a KGatLW station on Pandora today.
I don’t get it.
Also one of the first ads they ran on the station was for planning and pre-paying for your own funeral so your family isn’t stuck with the unexpected expenses.

They are among my favorite of the bands that I have learned about in the last few years. And yet nevertheless, I can’t tell you I necessarily get them either fully. Part of the draw for me is that I don’t see a pattern from album to album to know what to expect, and if you need some level of familiarity as a point of entry, it’s there so long as you seek out a fan and ask…jammy could be Ice, Death…, Metal could be Infest the Rats Nest or the new one, psychedelic could be I’m You Mind Fuzz, hard rock Nonagon Infinity…a little of everything Omnium Gatherum. Watching them explore a genre or a theme at an album’s length is really quite amazing, and watching them do that over 23 albums in 11 or 12 years is crazy but also means if something jumps past your taste that there’s something else right behind it that could bring you something totally new. I am pretty sure I would say at least 15 of the 23 albums are essential listening for me.

I can’t keep up with all of their albums. But I was really into them 7-8 years ago. I still own Paper Mache and Nonagon Infinity
Where would a good place be to pick them back up after they’ve released 97 albums since then?

Omnium and Ice, Death
PetroDragonic if you dig metal. It's absurdly good.

I’d like to run through them all again just to be able to rank em like we like to do.
But probably if you read through my journey a few pages back it will give an idea of where to pick it back up.

Kicking things off with an 18 minute song, huh? Risky move.

On Pandora Radio, you can quickly narrow down your target demographic. We can geographically target users by zip code, city, county, MSA/DMA, or state. Additional targeting by gender and by age make Pandora even more effective.
We participate in interest-based advertising and use third party advertising companies to serve you targeted advertisements based on your browsing history.
Pandora looked at your age and lifestyle, and drew the most likely statistical conclusion.
I’m sorry you had to find out this way.

I have like 30 different Pandora stations that I rotate. This was the first time for such an ad.
