It's a contender for my favourite KOL song.

Caleb recalls a joke his grandfather Leon used to tell. “Never talk about a man until you’ve walked a mile in his shoes. And then you’re a mile away, and you have his shoes. That always cracked me up, but I thought, man, it means more than that.”

Definitely the standout track on a really good album.

It's a joke about stealing shoes from people you don't like. I've heard it as "Before you criticise someone, try to walk a mile in their shoes. And then when you criticise them, you'll be a mile away, and you'll be wearing their shoes."

why do they make the album a double vinyl? kind of sucks have 2-3 songs per side. kind of contradicts the concept of being able to put on an album and listen when you have to change sides or discs every 5-9 minutes.

I think it's pretty cool other than 'Tonight', which sounds like a Come Around Sundown b-side. I still keep going back to 'Comeback Story'.

Replace Tonight with a reworked version (get rid of the Cure sounding guitars) of Work on Me.

I like The Cure-sounding guitars. These guys rip stuff off really well. They pretty much shamelessly steal every idea they have.

Yeah, after one listen the only two tracks I was meh about were Tonight and Beautiful War. They're not necessarily bad, they're just not as good as the tracks around them.
This band still know their way around a hook. The chorus melody of Supersoaker has been stuck in my head all day. And I dig it.
