He very much reminds me of Argo in that way, if we have to cast an RMer, which is why I said Argo earlier.

Re: HBO: The White Lotus
I don't think he flat out "sold out" his mom. His dad legitimately was trying to change, and he knew if his dad gave her the money to set her free, it was an act of good faith he could be a better person. He didn't think his dad was a complete irredeemable piece of shit just yet, and neither do I. If he were, why did he want to get back together with her at all instead of just continuing his ways? I'm sure he told his mom something along those lines too.JuanHamm wrote:Would Argo sell out his Mom for money to give to said prostitute?

He legitimately cared about the lady and wanted to set her free. I don't think it was a selfish act. In the end, he said he was played, and he didn't sound regretful. He's glad to have helped her anyway.dad wrote:he blackmailed his dad for 50K Euro of poonanny.tree_ wrote:I don't think he flat out "sold out" his mom. Re: HBO: The White Lotus
I'm probably closer to him than the other characters, but edgier, with some Rogue sprinkled in. I actually dated a self-proclaimed former prostitute in my early twenties, so...epilogue wrote:Maybe you're Albietree_ wrote:I don't think he flat out "sold out" his mom. Re: HBO: The White Lotus
Also I've been accused of being too nice to the ladies plenty of times. Yeah, I'm him I guess.
