Weird hill to die on, Anders. These movies are bad, and you should feel bad.

Had a great time with both director's cuts, and at least I saw them, which only one of us can claim.
Not dying on any hill, just joking about the non movie stuff.

Be honest. Is the second one markedly better than the first? Why the fuck would I watch it if the first one was so utterly dreadful?
I've got better things to do, which only one of us can claim.

I think both director's cuts together, feel like one movie (or mini series, because of its length).
Man, I have way too much to do, and too much responsibility. Wish I could spend more time relaxing (gaming, hiking and watching sports and movies).

I gave both movies (after seeing the director's cuts) 3.5 stars out of 5. So not perfect, but some great action, a few good characters (also some poor ones).

Is the second part of this out already?
I missed that. I liked the first one well enough.

I’ll have to look it up. Thanks.

I recommend seeing the director’s cuts.

Director's Cuts are significantly worse than the PG-13 cuts, for my money. But I'm happy Snyder got to do them.

I saw both, and like I’ve already said a few tiimes, I thought the director’s cuts were superior.

I think the pacing takes a significant hit and it's mostly just to add tons and tons of CG violence/gore that I found kinda numbing in its glut. Almost none of the added footage enriched the experience for me.

What’s the best thing about em from your point of view?
You have a discerning eye and can usually find something good
And
Have you watched the kneecap movie yet?

I just always find Snyder's sincere optimism very moving. I don't share it at this point in my life and it hits me hard when an artist can evoke that emotion - that genuine belief in the future and in humanity. I wish I still felt that.

That’s it and same for me. He’s an oddball
And not kidding but the kneecap movie will you that optimism and hope again.
Nothing like it in cinema that I know of it’s a pure bounce and beautifully done.
