I think this is a rarity where I don’t love the vocal delivery here. Music is interesting but can’t get onboard with lyrics….for now at least

Hot Damn! This one's my fave on the album.. what an absolute banger.

That last "RESPONNNNNNNNNNNNNNND" - I Haven't heard an Ed scream like that since the outro of Breakerfall... very similar in delivery too. We're back, boys.

Guitar work is INSANE on this one.

I actually LOVE the vocal delivery...its unconventional, at least in terms of what we're used to from the band but i think it absolutely works.

This is one of those from the record store listening party at low volume that was like "eh...ok?". To cranking it up full volume in the car and going "HOOLY SHIIT!!"

Fucking awesome song and the heaviest on the record

he must have been smugly laughing his ass off when he came up with that disco punk groove, this is literally unprecedented for Pearl Jam

That bridge is so fucking Binaural

Question for the guitar players...Who is in what ear for this one during the verses?

Huge vote for vocal delivery...Shit is sick from a sixty year old smoker
We still make records to be listened to — not that everyone will listen to a record track one to twelve in a row or side A or Side B — but we still make 'em in case somebody does want to listen to it like that, that's how we make em…

Such a cool song
The more I listen to it, the more keeps creeping up the list of favorites

It's a punk song, but not the spritzy punk they've been driving into the ground the last 20 years
It's got interesting curves twists and turns and just drives!!

I've always loved this type of PJ song and it gives off the same feel as songs like Last Exit, Do the Evolution, & even Evacuation
Obviously, it's own beast, but it's got that same quirky vibe to it

The "Don't React...Respond" chorus has some great chords underneath
Reminds me of The Cramps
Love the two Eddie screams on this - coupled with that spooky echo effect
The scream definitely calls back to Breakerfall

The outro solo is just McCready on absolute fire with Matt & Jeff just going off

Got a feeling this one will kick all kinds of ass live

Hope they do this one on Stern

Loved this one right from the first listen. Like others have said, gives me the same feelings I get from do the evolution or brain of j. The spirit of those songs is in there.

This one would sound super interesting if The Network covered it.

I said what I said.
