I suspect this guy is just stip making a second account so he finally has evidence of this kind of post happening.
I was thinking of linking to this guys 4 posts in that thread AND the 80s thread
I guess me and this stip person should grab a beer and have a therapy session.
username is the reverse of my pj forum fka the message pit username. it's all stepford wives over there and my last post got admin-deleted so hi nice to meet you all, and PS the new songs suck. Go Soundgarden.

I only dislike a few songs, but "Rowing" is starting to sound like Bon Jovi's "Dead or Alive", and "Worse Dreams" is the horrific nightmare it's trying to describe.

I think the snare comes out a bit too prominent here and conceals the main guitar line melodies which are pretty nice. Not sure about the lyrics.
I do like the metallic crunchiness of it all but in some respects the vocals sound like something I've heard before from PJ. I think they could have pushed themselves a little more out there with this one.

i thought the new SG was okay. A few good songs on there, and nothing horrible, but nothing that really made me want to go back after the first few 'getting to know the album' listens.
Certainly good enough to justify the band getting back together

Jorge, your writing is colorful and only seems verbose to the most pedestrian of readers.

Well, it
was a doozy, Jorge.
Perhaps best that we move to eradicate all written language from the board except for "sux" and "rulz," and conduct the remainder of dialogue via memes and animated GIFs. Vocabularies are destined to become a thing of the past--the future of communication is dancing cats and eCards. Won't you venture with me into this brave new world?

Cheers, Viller. Nearly all PJ is easy to play since Dave A. left. Matt often frustrates me as a drummer but not in these four leaked songs.

Yeah not to mention there are probably quite a few of us who play one if not multiple instruments. But I mean seriously, if you only like music based on its level of difficulty of being played...that's just sad. I love music based on the emotions that is stirs inside of me...it could be two power chords throughout the whole song or it could be the most difficult song ever written in the history of the world....harder to play doesn't make it better.

i don't get this critic either. the guy is most likely a troll or at least acts like one but i'll share my two cents about this anyway: simplicity is a key ingredient to the best rock music. if you want immediacy you don't write a 10 minutes epic with several meters and wild scales explorations. when i was a teenager i used to listen to a lot of prog, thinking that it was where it's at but i came to realize that a lot of the attitude behind that music is insecurity mixed with disproportionate egos. like those musicians can't face simple issues simply because that would seem "lazy" or "boring" so they'll complexify their raw feelings to a point where most humans will feel repelled by such a "rich vocabulary" when in fact, it's just a maladroit acknowledgement of their inability to be honest, have fun and talk to ladies. i think that, ideally, great musical knowledge and ability should be used to get your point across more efficiently, same with a rich vocabulary - it should help you describe something more precisely in your own way, that is way more impressive if people can relate.
