They played it 12 times from 2010-2016. It was fairly unlikely we were going to hear it live ever again as it was.
I didn’t realize it had been that long since they played it live.

It’s a bit like alone or leatherman, to me.

If it had been released as a b-side… Assuming a studio version is similar to the live one… I would treasure it as an interesting subcutaneous work by a band whose creative energies often overflow the project at hand. I would revisit it every few years and would feel a lot of joy when I did.

But like alone and leatherman, if it had been on an album I would wonder what they were thinking by including it and skip it all the time.
its amazing how much the album v bside placement impacts what i expect from a song

I feel there is a reason this song sits on a shelf. Cut a portion and use it as a sparse track for the next LP maybe but that is it.
