She has a new movie, an adaptation of the Chester Brown book Paying for It (where she is featured as a character). It's good! She screened it here and I got to talk to her afterwards. Really nice lady

One nice thing about Canada is that only like 38 percent of us are deplorables but in the USA it's over half.

Yeah, it's only like 78 million redacts for the USA. Not everyone voted. Lazy fucks.

The thing I like the most about Mark Carney is that he's not Pierre Poilievre. That's the baseline requirement for who I would support.
Beyond that, the fact that he has an economic acumen specifically suited to lead a country through this particular time in geopolitical history is a wonderful bonus.
And he does seem like an affable, genuinely good guy with a decent moral compass, which is important.

"Beige" is such a dumb looking word that it doesn't deserve to be spelled correctly.

Word. I just love Trudeau. He became the face of woke but he was a bro. The fact he lasted 10 years is about as good as it gets I suppose. Carney will be fine but Trudeau was a fighter and he woulda been great during these times.
