He had been cut or on the bubble with multiple travel teams and I always felt pretty bad about that because it reeked of dad ball politics I’m not a “jock dad” up in the coaches’ b-holes. Like if I had been a different kind of dad maybe he wouldn’t have had to eat a bunch of rejection. So let me tell you how vindicated I feel on his behalf now that dad coaches are off the table and lo and behold he makes the team and is solidly in the pitching rotation.
