Great! "Undun" -- the follow-up to "How I Got Over" -- is great too, in the same vein. Most of their albums are well worth your time but those are my two favorites.

But don't let any of it cut into your "Illmatic" time. :)

I will definitely delve deeper into The Roots. They're right up my alley.

Listening to Illmatic again. 'The World is Yours' is fantastic. The album has a weird nostalgic effect on me.

Yeah, because they're really isn't a separation. t2b said that rap was music and hip-hop was culture, but hip-hop is also music, and rap doesn't cover all forms of hip-hop (the music) since it implies rapping (vocals).
