Truth...I think I've got over 100 B-sides/leftovers.Harry Lime wrote:Any time I feel I lost gusto with the band, I direct myself to their stupendous B-side collection and think, "And this is their fricken B-sides," and all is restored.

It's all the EPs and singles and remixes...it's on my iPod and I haven't any idea how to get them to you in a link.bodysnatcher wrote:Gods' Die wrote:Truth...I think I've got over 100 B-sides/leftovers.Harry Lime wrote:Any time I feel I lost gusto with the band, I direct myself to their stupendous B-side collection and think, "And this is their fricken B-sides," and all is restored.link?

I think I have all of those, guess I just never realized they added up to that many songsGods' Die wrote:It's all the EPs and singles and remixes...it's on my iPod and I haven't any idea how to get them to you in a link.bodysnatcher wrote:Gods' Die wrote:Truth...I think I've got over 100 B-sides/leftovers.Harry Lime wrote:Any time I feel I lost gusto with the band, I direct myself to their stupendous B-side collection and think, "And this is their fricken B-sides," and all is restored.link?
When I first got it years ago, I like some songs, but others just didn't click with me at all. The more listens though, the more I like those songs I didn't think I liked.NancyBabich wrote:HTTT is the album I was not at all fond of at first but am still likening better each time I listen to it
I know it's one of my favorites. It's absolutely packed with good/great songs. It's definitely their White Album. Definitely listen to it more than The Bends or OKC.darth_vedder wrote:Listening to iPod on shuffle and "Go To Sleep (Little Man Being Erased) just a second ago...Wow! Totally forgot about this one. Great song.
So the more I listen to 'Hail To The Thief' the more I like it. Aren't a lot of diehard RH fans not so into this album? To me, it's one of their best.
Oh, I like TKOL quite a bit. It's just kind of a low-key affair compared to their usual way of coming at you. They seem very comfortable on TKOL. Whether or not that's a good thing, I don't know.Gods' Die wrote:I'm not the hugest fan of TKoL but it has grown on me considerably. Have you seen the Basement performances? I think I should just download those and treat it as the proper album.
It's such a dense way of songwriting with the unobvious hooks layered under less obvious hooks. It feels even more rigid and mechanical than Radiohead usually does. The Basement performances add a bit more of an organic feel which makes the proper album itself easier to get into.Wendy Carlos's Twin wrote:Oh, I like TKOL quite a bit. Never given it much of a chance.warehouse wrote:i think we have an atoms for peace thread
