thats a safe bet.
There is no tag that could make that song enjoyable.

what if they tagged LBC with a snippet of LBC? two wrongs make a right?

what if mick jager strutted out and started pointing around and puckering his lips? that would at least be funny.
i always dig when bands do something new to old songs.

I love twists on the familiar tracks, but LBC is like a song by a Pearl Jam parody artist that they cover ironically.

Yeah, I actually really enjoyed that performance, and I thoroughly dislike that song in general. There were many points in the song where Ed normally would have done his present-day warble, but he didn't. He didn't try and strain to hit notes, and instead changed a melody. Kinda promising.

They always look like they have a lot of fun playing together. I wish they'd record a record on the road.

thank will, that was great! im also pretty sure that rearrangement/tag was influenced by mike mccready's friendship with stefan lessard of dave matthews band. now all we need is a sax player in pearl jam.

They really did nail Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love last year. I would like that one played more. Every other one played less.

Personally I'd like all covers and the album Ten rested for a tour. That would get them out of their comfort zone a little.
There's still a heap of iconic material for them to choose from.

Ed with White Reaper. They had one of my favorite singles last year CONSPIRITOR, I but never got around to checking their latest LP.

I like the idea, but it's risky from a business standpoint to blacklist the songs you are most famous for. If I only got to see one PJ show, I would be kinda sad if they didn't do Even Flow, Alive, and Black.

Ed has been wearing PJ gear lately.
Not a fan.

I apologize to those who are thoroughly offended at the thought that there's enough music out there in the world for me to prefer to see anyone to Pearl Jam, let alone fifty acts. I have a very music-centric job. This gives me more than enough time to care about/enjoy/be interested all of these bands. Sorry I have too many posts here for your liking. If it makes you feel better, the vast majority of them have nothing to do with Pearl Jam. There happen to be a number of really great people and super intelligent and interesting music fans here. They could official change this to a Jason Mraz board tomorrow and I'd still visit every day to interact with these people.
Thanks for the interesting response. It is hard for me to wrap my head around but i'll take your word for it. I guess i've never had enough time to be dedicated to a message board more than the band it is meant to focus on
