On the Lolla board they seem pretty sure it's Metallica and Kanye headlining, no PJ rumors. I wonder if Pearl Jam is in play for Osheaga or that new festival in Toronto?
I'd be surprised if there were a 12 date North American tour this year, but I'd also he surprised if there weren't a handful of shows like in 2012.

Global Citizen Festival September 26 NYC. This will be the lone US show. Per Dimitris.

I'd guess this is the only show planned for right now, but there must be at least a couple more? It doesn't make a lot of sense for them to haul their gear across the country and play a condensed set they presumably won't get paid for.
This festival usually announces it's lineup in June. The past few years (2014, Missoula 2012, Canada 2011) PJ announced their fall shows in May. I'd guess we will know by the end of May if there are a few other shows or not.

I would be surprised if they play just one stand alone show too. The "only US date" is interesting though, maybe a couple in Canada, hitting Toronto/Montreal around the same time? I am starting to suspect 2015 could be a completely off year.

The SA rumors are flying everywhere. Sopposedly, the tour will conclude Nov. 28 in Mexico City.

Just came across a crazy rumor, a few canada shows, then down to SA with a NA stop or two inbetween. I have no idea how true, but we will see friday.

Was is Ontario / Quebec shows only? I saw that rumor and didn't really put stock in it. I'll gladly drive up to Ottawa though.

I have been to this board for years with a lot of different names. I can never remember my password lol. But I have a friend who works for the band's PR firm and he sent me this? I dont know how accurate it is.
We warned you to make sure your Fan Club membership was up to date, and now you'll see why. Pearl Jam is proud to announce their largest tour in over a decade. 2015 should be a big year for our Jamily, and we want to celebrate it with you. This three leg, 35 shows in 29 city tour will span through out the entire summer, and well into the fall! Additionally, we heard your concerns with past announcements and are announcing ALL US TOUR DATES AT ONE TIME. No Dates will be added, allowing you to plan your shows ahead of time. Ticket details (both prices and distribution to fan club members) are being finalized, and should be available by the end of the month.

I kind of find it hard to believe that they would schedule their biggest tour in 9 years without a new album behind it.

Agreed. That US tour schedule just doesn't make any sense. That's what they've done the last 2 years behind the same album. SA (and maybe Canada) seems much more likely and I hope that is the case... I would likely go to one show in 2015, maybe 2 depending on the Canadian cities.
By the way people are saying that a South American tour could wrap in Mexico City which, based on the map at my house, is in North America.

I'm sure at least part of the reason they play a handful of shows now is to keep the demand relatively high.
