Yeah, that doesn't seem like something to hide or be ashamed of.Strat wrote:Don't feel bad about this.Monkey_Driven wrote:I'm not going to lie, I'm liking this more then National's new album at the moment.

I don't feel bad, just stating an opinion. Sounds like others agree!durdencommatyler wrote:Yeah, that doesn't seem like something to hide or be ashamed of.Strat wrote:Don't feel bad about this.Monkey_Driven wrote:I'm not going to lie, I'm liking this more then National's new album at the moment.

This is a true statement.lennytheweedwhacker wrote:under the pressure and red eyes are a heck of a one two punch to start out an album
i think i struggle listening to a full album a bit from these guys, but the standout tracks are so goodStrat wrote:This is a true statement.lennytheweedwhacker wrote:under the pressure and red eyes are a heck of a one two punch to start out an album
This one is growing on me much like Lost in a Dream did. I think it is a wonderful complement to the prior. This does feel more grand and ambitious though, pushing what they touched on just a little further
I tend to lean the other way, that the tracks are good by themselves, but lifted to something else when played as a wholelennytheweedwhacker wrote:i think i struggle listening to a full album a bit from these guys, but the standout tracks are so goodStrat wrote:This is a true statement.lennytheweedwhacker wrote:under the pressure and red eyes are a heck of a one two punch to start out an album

This is exciting news! I believe its sold out but im sure you could get tickets.Hatfield wrote:On Monday two friends texted me that I needed to listen to the War on Drugs new album. Well, I'd never heard of the War on Drugs. Tuesday I walked to the library and picked up Lost in the Dream. Yesterday I put in the headphones and took a sunrise hike in the foothills, here in the front range, for my first listen.
Team, I am IN LOVE with the War on Drugs! This is exactly what I needed. My first thought was, LitD is a noise laden version of Dylan's Oh Mercy, my favorite Dylan album.
I can't wait to hear the new record!
Strat, I might see you at the Ogden!
