Siamese Dream and Adore are two of my all-time favorite albums by anyone, but I don't think I've even listened to a single thing these guys have made after their comeback.

I really must go back and give Adore a proper listen. I pretty much dismised that album when it came out and never went back to it

Despite having been something of a mid 90s Pumpkins fan, I don't think I've ever heard Adore. Maybe I'll give it a shot.

I have a feeling you'll hate it.
Parts of it are chintzy as hell, and it's nowhere near as good as Siamese Dream, but it has a special place in my heart.

I think I'll be sad when this thread reaches a new page and everytime I come here the first thing I see won't be Billy holding cats

There's so much heartbreak in that face, too.
Maybe, as the flashbulb popped, he had just realized that he actually wrote the lines "Despite all my rage I am still just a rat in a cage," and didn't immediately toss them out.

I am thinking he's probably glad he didn't, considering the ridiculous success of that song.
Never liked "Bullet...", though, it always bugged me what they did with the bass and the drums in the studio version. It's all wobbly.

Everybody Loves My Shitty Song would have been a great song title for the mid 90s.

"Chintzy" is a perfect one word review of Adore.

New song not really doing anything for me. Hope the rest of the new album is better.
So - this has been out for over a week. Not bad really....

I dig it but I'm also a big SP/Corgan fan.
Def looking forward to the new album(s) and hopefully tour.

They lost me around Adore and Machina (always wondered if I should give these a decent crack), but I've found enough on the last two albums that I like to re-engage my interest.
