This is a great reason to see them. Some of my best "Pearl Jam" shows have been seeing the band members from ten feet away in a small room.

Spot on. I saw Tres Mts at the Black Cat (intimate venue) in DC a few years back and caught a guitar pic from McCready. Also was standing about 2 people back from Mike and Jeff the whole time. This would NEVER happen at a PJ show cause my old ass doesn't go front row(s) anymore at the larger venues.

Yeah, I haven't heard the whole album. Just the songs that have been posted so far in this thread. But NYC Freaks is already a contender for my favorite song of the year.

Of course, seeing him genuinely happy to be playing really creative music in a live setting might just make you hate modern PJ even worse.

Jeff is my go to guy in PJ too at this point. I feel bad for the PJ fans that will yell for evenflow though.
