ridleybradout wrote:These discs feature some great work from JWB, including a fresh rip from a recently opened copy of the 'Animal (Live at MTV VMAs)' cassette, and a masterful patching of the word c&@% in 'Ramblings (Live in Indio)' via the 7" test pressing version.
That Ramblings patch is delightfully satisfying.

Discs 5 and 6 are now ready
This is what I consider to be the best period of the band's career. Not as many rarities as some other years, but there is room on Disc 5 in anticipation of some unreleased stuff from the No Code/Yield Deluxe Box should it ever arrive
Some rare tracks on here for the completists such as shortened radio edits of Off He Goes, Given To Fly, NAIS and Light Years.
Also a bit-rate upgrade for 'Corduroy (Bridge School Benefit 1996-10-20)' which at the time of JasonA's comp was only available as a 128k AAC.
Something else worth noting is that the version of 'The Kids Are Alright (Live in Seattle 2000-11-06)' from The Who 'Substitute' compilation was brickwalled to buggery, so it has been recreated using the official bootleg version (likewise the 2000 Holiday Gift vinyl tracks).

Awesome stuff yet again!
Noticed a tiny typo in Disc_5_6_Inside.jpg though:
Disc 6, track 6 listed as "(RIDGE SCHOOL BENEFIT)"

For me, the absolute best, most optimistic moment to be a Pearl Jam fan was October 31st, 1999.

Hey why isn't Yellow Ledbetter from the Jeremy single included in this?

I forgot how great the TFC Ledbetter is. No warbles or anything.

I'm waiting to grab these until they're all up, but I just wanted to say thanks for this, Ridley and JWB. If prior efforts are any indication this will be a stellar project.

Lost Dogs tracks not included unless a different version/mix.
The idea is that if you have all the studio albums, official comps (LD, RVM, PJ20) and this collection, then you have everything the band has recorded on offer

I think the single version of "YL" is a little different - like the "LD" version chops 10 seconds off the outro or something.

The LD version just chops off the final ringing harmonic note. Think it was a mistake too i remember them commenting on it

Oh, didn't realize that - I might put it on the 'For the Serious Collector' bonus disc then.
(Then again I assume the RVM version is okay?)
