are we still talking about tomatoes because that sounds like a couple of weed varieties, which i wouldn't have a problem with you sending to me either.

anyway, i love home grown tomatoes. any variety I've had - but i don't have access to the array of different types you seem to have - i'm sure they're all delicious

I only dabble in tomatoes..

although I did just buy a lemon tree..we'll see how that goes

there's a public market downtown on the weekends, it's not far from where I'll be living... you'd prolly like the neighborhood: it's classy, a bit trendy, lots of activity and restaurants around, and a beautiful area of the city. also a big park down the road a bit and the best damn custard in the whole world right around the corner from my place.

I'll be checking out the market sooner or later...

my father's cousins in Sicily had orange trees all over their back yard, the oranges were all green. that was the natural color of the rind, tasty though. (about the same climate as cali)

Aren't oranges and lemons fruits? I thought this was the vegetable thread.
