anyway, i love home grown tomatoes. any variety I've had - but i don't have access to the array of different types you seem to have - i'm sure they're all delicious

there's a public market downtown on the weekends, it's not far from where I'll be living... you'd prolly like the neighborhood: it's classy, a bit trendy, lots of activity and restaurants around, and a beautiful area of the city. also a big park down the road a bit and the best damn custard in the whole world right around the corner from my place.spike wrote:mary, you should check and see if there are any farmer's markets nearby. tis the season.

I'll be checking out the market sooner or later...
my father's cousins in Sicily had orange trees all over their back yard, the oranges were all green. that was the natural color of the rind, tasty though.
