It was what I expected. No complaints. Joe Walsh was my mvp. He crushed it. Highlights were Eminence Front, I can't Explain, Betterman and My Generation. And when Eddie told the person who screamed "Freebird" that he was a "fucking asshole.". Later a woman yelled something and he said "I can',t hear you, but I don't care what you said.". That ended the outbursts during the quiet talking parts (THANK YOU!).
Simon started. Then Eddie and Simon. Then Eddie. Then Eddie and Pete. Then Pete. The Pete played a one of a kind vinyl that is up for auction. Then Who. Then Who plus Joe. Then +Joan. Then Eddie with the Who. Then Eddie, Who, Walsh. Then + Nielson to end.
Eddie played Blue Red Grey, ?, Far Behind. Bettermsn featured a very extended Save it for later tag.

The vinyl song was The One. Then The One was played with The Who. Eminence Front was played with Joe. Joan played Summertime Blues and I Can't Explain. Better man was player with the Who. My Generation closed. Behind Blue Eyes was playef , but I forget when.
Pete mentioned the trouble he was in and that he remembered those who stood by him.

Pete mentioned the trouble he was in and that he remembered those who stood by him. Then he asked if there were any children in the audience who wanted to come backstage after the show
Sounds like a cool gig

I think he only played 2 songs solo and 1 with Ed. It was probably closer to 10 minutes. It only felt like 20.

Yikes. I would hate to be someone who spent $1000 a ticket.

It was very good for what there was, but they left so much more on the table. It felt like they were just getting going. Only thing I could think it was sandwiched between Who shows. No one played for that long, for the money they could have thrown a few more out there.
Behind Blue Eyes and Betterman were awesome.

agreed. the ending was weird and almost awkward. did they even say good night/thank you?
the morning after just brings more frustration. i know it is for charity, but the show was a severe disappointment. I cant believe they wouldn't do a 3-5 song encore at least.

I agree as well. I thought Ed sounded great. Just was hoping for some more. Very disappointed. I can't believe it was Ed's decision. He looked happy as hell to be there

Home.
For what it was it was good but there definitely could have been more. I think everyone expected a few songs as an encore. We all thought songs like Baba, Heat to Hang On To, Magic Bus, Let My Love Open the Door, Love Reign O'er Me and others were a given but no. The only noticeable mistake..was Ed's playing on the Dylan song with Pete. Behind Blue Eyes was the highlight for me; a great song choice for Ed with the extended slow intro before going all rock anthem at the end.
My seats weren't all that great but as the cheapest in the house what did I expect? Even at those prices you still had a few drunk meatheads types and "EDDIE!" girls around. And why people pay good money to go to a show to talk with their friends I don't get.
Nice enough venue but I was hoping for a non-electronic marquee to get a good picture. Actually the building is pretty non-descript from the outside.

Haha, I only heard you that one time.
You caught me off guard calling me "Biff"; it's not something I normally answer to. Had to think "oh yeah, the board" for a second.
