This is a great idea. I say wait until after they ship, and then ask why yours didn't arrive.
That won't work.
Yes but it is worth the shot for the possible hilarity that may follow.

10c: What's your order number?
KD: I don't have one.
10c: That means you never ordered it. Thank you have a nice day.
KD: Oh.

So what you're saying is they've secretly got solid record keeping and a highly efficient supply chain process, but just don't give a shit about doing a good job most of the time.

I'm saying KD's plan is very weak.

It's hardly a plan, just a little mischievious curiosity. 10C doesn't exactly have a sterling reputation for being on top of their shit, so the idea that they might fail to send someone a confirmation email for an order not scheduled to arrive for eight months doesn't seem entirely implausible. I have too active a conscience to ever attempt this (I honestly am not all that excited about the release), but it would certainly be an amusing stunt to pull off.

Here's what will happen: they'll never get back to you. They sent my last Vault vinyl to the wrong address, and when I emailed asking what the deal was, they never replied. Luckily, UPS contacted me to get it to the right place.

This was officially released years ago - MP3 only. We'll see if this is any better

I imagine it'll be close to if not exactly identical, just with better fidelity.
