I'm not familiar with the source book or whatever. So I don't know what you mean. But the title makes sense based on the trailer.

Basically the government wants to register everyone with super powers. Cap and Iron man disagree (and generally act out of character) over whether this is a good idea.
The central premise about oversight and registration makes sense even without the secret identity angle.

Cap's on the wrong side of this, though

So do they all come back together after this civil war for the infinity stuff?

The rumor is that they come back for part II, and part 1 is more focused on the other characters. So maybe space stuff with the guardians, new figures like Dr. strange, I presume Thor.

Yeah, you're right. Watching them just feels like work.
Blech. Cut the chord. You probably won't miss much. The Marvel films are terribly uneven. I haven't seen them all by any stretch. I find it easy to ignore them.
Will you see guardians already?

Just as soon as it's on Netflix, I'll watch it.

So wait, Cap is for and Tony against registration?

Opposite.

Also, are the Netflix series' going to tie into this plot point, too? Seems like there's some of that registration stuff cropping up in JJ.

That's what I got from the trailer. But why is Stip saying Cap's on the wrong side of this? Surely "mutant registration" isn't a good thing.

I only watched the trailer once, on my phone and I missed a good chunk of the dialogue. So maybe I'm way out of line, I don't know.

You'd register a gun, wouldn't you?

No, cap is probably meant to be more sympathetic.

I, for one, think all Muslims should have to register.

Though my limited understanding is that the 'accords' are about creating an oversight body for the avengers aka that council that governed shield
