just once can we have a spider-man movie where he isnt trying to hold something massive together with his webbing
Imagine that.

im also guessing at some point while battling one of the bad guys his mask comes off and yet still fights on with people watching, cause thats what new yorkers would do
Im sure they will handle his mask again because they are also very protective of their heros.
:)

It was, but it had little moments I liked. I'm still on board because Jon Watts made this and I'm down for whatever he does. This will be the first Marvel movie I've watched in quite a while.

The first two trailers were really strong so I was surprised how off this one felt. I'm still interested in the movie. But that was a pretty wonky trailer. And it made this look more Marvely than the most Marvel of Marvels! It was like a Marvel's Greatest Hits Mixtape.

has suit and goes to germany
tries to stop bad guys on ferry
stark pissed thinks hes over his head
demands suit back
to show he is good cobbles together homemade suit
wins starks trust back by helping take down bad guys with fresh look on problem

i think this trailer they gave too much away.

I liked it more with later viewings. Tony's I want you to be better moment is nice, and Michael Keaton looks great (as vulture and himself). I am really looking forward to the high school dynamics as well.

Yeah it was basically the next iteration of trailer: instead of random flashes from the movie, this appears to show major beats in sequential order. Like a mini movie for some reason.

For some reason, Keaton's fucking bomber jacket with the fur collar made me laugh out loud. I think it looks ridiculous.

I mean, it's a play on the character's design from the comics. I get that. It's a "more realistic" way to utilize something iconic from the character's most popular design. But it doesn't work for me. Keaton's gonna fucking OWN the shit out of the role though.

Even when they gave up control to Marvel, Sony is still finding ways to fuck this franchise in the ass.

That was a good bit, and plays nicely into Tony's series arc

It was the "just be a friendly neighborhood Spider-Man" part that made me throw up a tiny bit.

I want a film about Spiderman though. Not Tony Stark or his guilt/over compensating/mid life crisis.
