Also, there seems to be a lot of irrational hate for guys / gals who wear jerseys. I don't get it. I mean, I'm more of a t-shirt guy, so I don't wear the jersey replicas, but I don't really care if others do. Doesn't bother me at all.

A color scheme so hideous that their uniforms just finished in third place in UniWatch's rankings of NFL uniforms a few months ago...

That doesnt mean a grown man should wear one in public.

What is the difference between someone wearing a jersey to their team's game and someone wearing their team's t-shirt and hat to a game? Or are you just talking about in general public?

Oh general public. I actually never wear that bulls hat day to day. I'm too white to pull off that snap back anywhere but the UC.

So it's ok to wear team gear (jerseys included) to a game, but if you wear team gear (jerseys / hats / shirts / whatever) at home or at a bar (to watch the game with fellow fans), that is wrong?

Its not wrong so much as lame and unfashionable in my opinion. Unless you're below the age of 14.

Clothes in general are lame and unfashionable. I just use them to cover up my pecker, my butt (or lack thereof), and my doughy mid-section.

I know it's a little early, but predictions anyone?

NFC:
Playoff Teams: Packers, Cowboys, Seahawks, Eagles, Vikes, Saints

Championship: Seahawks over Packers

Notes:
# I still think the Seahawks and Packers are better than everybody else.
# The Cowboys schedule is brutal and I think if they lose a couple of games early, which they likely will, it could snowball. Although, I think their D will be pretty solid.
# Saints win a very weak division with a favorable schedule.
# Bradford will have a very good to spectacular year.
# The Cards could have a great year, but Carson hasn't actually finished a season in many years and their O line has problems.

AFC:
Playoff Teams: Bills, Pats, Colts, Broncos, Steelers, Ravens

Championship: Colts over Steelers

Notes:
# The Broncos' ceiling is about 10 wins.
# Bengals come back down to Earth.
# Steelers start slow, but finish strong and push the Colts in championship game.
# Mariota has a hell of a year and the Titans go 8-8.
# I love Todd Bowles and want to see the Jets do well, but that's gonna be a fucking train wreck.

SB: Seahawks over Colts

Dark horse team: Cards
MVP: Andrew Luck

The Bills are going to make the playoffs with that QB situation?

I don't mean to sound like a homer, but the Pats are going back to the Super Bowl.

I really don't get all the Colts AFC Champions talk that I'm hearing everywhere, including in this thread. I still don't trust that defense, which isn't that drastically changed from the one that got carpetbombed twice by the Patriots.

Other than that, I like t2b's playoff team choices, other than I'll take the Falcons over the Saints. Though I wouldn't be surprised if the Giants push out one of the Eagles or Cowboys, as well. I, too, think the Bills can squeeze out a playoff berth, and I think if they give Tyrod Taylor a chance, he can be the QB to get them into January.

As for Super Bowl picks? Of course I have to homer pick the Broncos, and I'll have them defeating the Packers, who finally get Seattle at home this year.
