pearljamonline.it also shared the news:
https://www.pearljamonline.it/en/brad-n ... ords-2023/
The record label will release Brad’s still-untitled album, which doesn’t have a release date yet. The ten unreleased songs were written by the whole band, and all the lyrics were solely written by the late Shawn Smith, exception made for Stars N’ You, (originally written by Andy Wood for the Deep Six Compilation) that could may be rearranged to fit in the Brad’s new effort. Barrett Jones played piano on Meadow in Autumn, while Hans Teuber played horns and keys on various other tracks.
The album has been self-produced by the Band, and it was recorded and mixed by Floyd Reitsma at Studio Litho in Seattle (except for The Moment You Were Born, which was the only song mixed by Josh Evans). The artwork was cured and crafted by Regan Hagar with the addition of some pictures taken by Lance Mercer.
Brad is:
Keith Lowe: Bass, Piano, Keys
Shawn Smith: Vocials, Guitars, Keys
Stone Gossard: Guitars, Keys
Regan Hagar: Drums, Keys
Here’s the tentative Brad’s new album tracklist:
1. In The Moment You Were Born
2. Pieces of Sky in My Head
3. Straight To The Hoop
4. Stars N’ You
5. Meadow in Autumn
6. Take Me Back Home
7. Without Guns
8. Hey Now What’s The Problem?
9. I’m Digging You
10. Simple Subtraction

I think he left after the second album? At that point im guessing Brad wasnt really a project. They even shelved an album back then.

Toback was more a session guy. When they wanted to tour Interiors he wasnt available orso. So they asked Mike Berg to step in. Mike was also half in Satchel at the time. And when Satchel started recording their second album with Gossard producing both bands kind of morphed into each other. By 2001 Brad regrouped with both Toback and Berg and recorded and toured WTDP.
Best Friends was recorded while touring WTDP. Mike Berg was their bassplayer by now. Until they regrouped again years later with Keith Lowe. He recorded and toured United we Stand and will be on this upcoming record.

lol I guess I saw them with Berg a couple times. No recollection of him and somehow my brain had implanted Toback as being on stage with them.
Weed is a hell of a drug?

Interesting that he thinks people in Pearl Jam (the band and the guys working for them), didn't want Brad to succeed. He explains it better in the interview, than I can write in a short summary here.

Regan also says that in the grunge is dead book. He is talking about the Shame release and it seems management didn’t quite wanted Brad to tour at all.

That being said though they had radio & music tv play in Australia. He may be right.

Interesting (bit long..) podcast. I understand he had that feeling, about PJ inc and/or Epic not really wanted to push Brad. But I also think that can be a bit over exaggerated.

I probably won't double-dip because I have the 2013 pressing, but I like the artwork on this one better.
