I just wanted to see if anyone from the Pit was reading and ran with it over there.

I thought this was last night, and was looking forward to avoiding work by reading posts like "you all have ridiculous expectations, this was great," or "it is what it is; I don't expect much from pearl jam these days and I'm happy with what I got" all morning.

I'll say this much in its favor: I can't imagine it could be any worse than Ed's performance on Letterman.

The fun part is that no matter what they do, this place is going to be nuts.

Taping starts at 5:00 EST (5 hrs from now). But, really not until about 5:30. If they do the musical guest during the normal course of the show taping, that would put it around 6:30. But, I'm not sure how/when they actually record the musical guest.

Welp, they are in town to play a big concert, and I assume they'll play mostly "greatest hits" at the concert, so my guess is that they will use today's platform as sort of a dress rehearsal, which is why I am optimistic that they'll play an oldie, but a goodie.

If that does not happen, I vote new song!

New song would be awesome, but I'm ok with 'Mind your Manners'.
